Our Story
At Jacob & Co. Wall Design, we’re rewriting the rules. We’re redefining how walls are seen, felt, and experienced. We use wallpaper, paint, and trim carpentry to create curated designs that do more than decorate — they transform. Walls aren’t passive surfaces to us. They’re bold, expressive, and vital. They influence mood, set the tone, and shape the energy of a room. We’re breaking the mold of traditional interior thinking. Our designs put walls at the forefront — not as background elements, but as design leaders. We turn everyday spaces into jaw-dropping environments that feel alive and inspired. We believe in taking the ordinary and making it extraordinary — a catalyst for transformation. Every design we create breathes new life into a space. It’s not just about how a room looks — it’s about how it feels.
About
Rachael Lockhart
Rachael Lockhart is the Founder and lead designer of Jacob & Co. Wall Design, a Toronto-based wall design studio created to help clients transform their walls into beautiful, intentional features of the home. Coming from a diverse professional background in real estate finance, Rachael brings a unique perspective to design and a deep appreciation for how spaces come together. She has always believed that walls are too often treated as an afterthought, when they are actually the canvas that holds everything else together. As a homeowner herself, she understands how challenging it can be to stand in front of a blank wall and wonder where to begin or what to do with it. Jacob & Co. was born from that experience and from Rachael’s desire to give clients an easier, more thoughtful way to make their walls beautiful. For her, a well-designed wall is more than a backdrop—it has the power to bring a room together and make a home feel truly considered.
